The Brainz Digital team came back from the Croatia SEO Summit 2026 with full notebooks, new connections, and a genuine sense of gratitude for having been part of it. Being invited to contribute, not just attend, meant a lot to us. Our CEO Liraz Postan took the stage to talk multi-engine SEO, and the experience of sharing that thinking with a room full of sharp, engaged search professionals was one we won’t forget quickly. The conversations that started in sessions carried on through dinners and into evenings, and that social thread running through the whole event made it feel like something more than a standard industry gathering. Here’s what stood out, and what we’re taking back into our work.
Liraz on Stage: Why Multi-Engine SEO Is the Conversation the Industry Needs
Liraz’s talk centred on something Brainz Digital has been building into client strategies for a while now: the idea that optimising for a single search surface is a structural mistake. Not a minor oversight. A strategic blind spot.
The session walked through how search behaviour has fractured across Google, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT Browse, Perplexity, and a growing list of AI-native assistants, and why brands that treat these as separate, secondary concerns tend to discover the problem only after their visibility has already shrunk. The core argument was that LLMs don’t rank pages the way Google does. They build an understanding of your brand from the full breadth of what exists about you across the web: structured content, third-party mentions, review data, entity consistency, and the clarity of your positioning in any given product or service category.

The Organisers Deserve Real Credit
Events like this don’t happen without serious logistical effort and a clear point of view on what a good conference should feel like. The Croatia SEO Summit team got the fundamentals right: sessions ran on time, the venue was well-chosen, and the programme had enough structure to feel purposeful without feeling packed to the point of exhaustion.

The social side of the event was genuinely enjoyable. Croatia gives you a lot to work with as a backdrop, and the evening dinners and networking time felt like a natural extension of the day’s conversations rather than an obligation to get through. Some of the most useful exchanges happened at the table after sessions ended; the kind of peer-to-peer thinking that you can’t schedule into an agenda.
From a career standpoint, the connections made at a well-curated event like this tend to have a long tail. The people in the room were working on interesting problems, and that kind of concentration of expertise is hard to manufacture. The organisers created conditions for that to happen, and it showed.

What You Should Take Back to Your Own Strategy
The through-line across everything at Croatia 2026 was this: search has expanded, and the brands still treating it as a single-channel problem are leaving visibility on the table. Liraz’s session made the case for multi-engine thinking as a strategic framework, not a trend to monitor from a distance. The other speakers reinforced the same idea from different angles; content quality, technical foundations, and international reach all feed into the same outcome.

If you’re building a search strategy for the rest of 2026, the question worth sitting with is whether your brand can be understood clearly by systems that have never crawled your site in the traditional sense. Can an LLM piece together who you are, what you do, and why you’re credible from everything that exists about you across the web? If the answer feels uncertain, that’s the work. And based on what came out of this conference, the agencies and in-house teams that are already asking that question are the ones building something durable.
Croatia 2026 was, by any measure, a well-run event with substance behind it. Brainz Digital left with new thinking, good relationships, and a genuine appreciation for what the organisers put together.
